The Men’s Makalu Jacket from Mountain Equipment is the jacket that does just that. 100% Waterproof thanks to it’s fully recycled 3-layer GORE-TEX 50D fabric with PFC EC free DWR and it’s 3-layer GORE-TEX 75D fabric reinforcements with PFC EC free DWR. The Makalu would work well over just a wicking tee in the summer, as well as working well as the waterproof/windproof outer layer in the winter. There is a helmet compatible, fully adjustable hood and articulated pre shaped sleeves too, which makes this jacket ideal for mountaineering and climbing
